Hi Everyone!
We are super excited to let you know who will be there at Sales for Tails selling their artwork.  See the attached list (to the right) of all 2013 participating artists.  Everyone is busy busy busy working in their studios creating marvelous things so you can have a very exciting shopping experience just in time for the holiday season.  Please mark your calendars, if you have not already done so, for November 9th, 2013.  This will be a wonderful event.  Plan on coming and showing your support of two very important groups - local artists and local homeless animals!

Things you need to know about the show:
  •  15 very talented local artists will be selling their work at this event.  They will be donating a percentage of their sales to the Jacksonville Humane Society.
  •  There will be a $6 entry fee at the door for all patrons.  Cash and checks only please.  All entry fee money collected will go directly to the Jacksonville Humane Society.  In return for your entry fee/donation you will be given 3 raffle tickets to be used at the Sales for Tails Raffle Basket Station.  This station will feature approximately 10 assorted gift baskets that will be up for raffle.  Hand made items that artists have donated will be featured inside these little gems.
  • Additional raffle basket tickets will be available for purchase for $3 each.  All Raffle Ticket sales will also be donated directly to the Jacksonville Humane Society.
  • There will be an amazing Silent Auction at the event and all proceeds generated will be donated directly to the Jacksonville Humane Society.  Artists will be contributing wonderful work for this event in the hopes that you will bid high and help show your support for the Jacksonville Humane Society.
  • Other items will be for sale at this event.  There will be special items for sale such as T-shirts, hand made mugs and magnets.  100% of all of the proceeds collected from the sale of these items will go to the Jacksonville Humane Society.
Get the idea of what this event is all about?

Please plan on coming and showing your support of both the North Florida Handmade Movement and the Jacksonville Humane Society.  Together we can all make a difference!

JHS Thanks Us. And we feel great about it!

So, here's a very sweet Thank You note from my contact at the Jacksonville Humane Society, Brittany Burnes.  As most of you probably already know Nick and I threw this artsy party/sale gig in our home recently and called it Sales for Tails.  Most participating artists donated 10% of their sales to the Jacksonville Humane Society.  Together we all pulled together and raised and donated $1,589.28 to the cause.  We like to think that this will buy a lot of cat and dog food or whatever else JHS needs to keep those animals safe and sound until their future families come to find them.  We LOVE supporting the Jacksonville Humane Society and all of our fabulously creative friends!!  If you didn't get a chance to come this time, hopefully you can join us next time.
