WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING ARTIST APPLICATIONS
ARTISTS, WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE SHOW:
“Sales
for Tails” is an indoor art show. Approximately
15 local artists will be selling their artwork from 2PM- 8PM, Saturday, November 9th, 2013 at the CoRK Arts Distict in Jacksonville, Florida. In addition, we will be generating money to
donate to the Jacksonville Humane Society.
If you are interested in
participating please complete the Artist Application (below) and E-mail it to m_myrick@comcast.net of fax it to (904) 357-6225. All applications are due by August 31, 2013.
If accepted, artists will be required to submit
a $65 participation fee no later than September 15th. In addition, artists will be encouraged to
donate 10% of their sales to the Jacksonville Humane Society.
Artists will be asked (though not required) to donate
one small piece of artwork to be placed in raffle baskets that we will be
raffling off during the show. We will be
developing themed baskets so we may ask for something in particular. Additionally,
if interested, artists are invited to donate one larger piece to be auctioned
off during the event’s silent auction.
Space is limited so each participating artist will be allotted an area approximately 9’ Wide x 6’ Deep. Use of the wall space behind is allowed. However, any holes created must be patched during the event break down immediately after the show. All participating artists are responsible for setting up and breaking down their own displays. CoRK will be accessible the day prior so that artists can bring any tables and props they wish to use during the event. Artwork cannot be brought until the morning of the show. Break down will begin immediately after the event, starting at 8PM, during which all items must be removed.
Any artist who wants to participate and help out, but doesn’t want to sell during the show, will be able to donate a piece for the silent auction. In return, Sales for Tails will advertise all participating artists on the Sales for Tails web site.
