JHS Thanks Us. And we feel great about it!

So, here's a very sweet Thank You note from my contact at the Jacksonville Humane Society, Brittany Burnes.  As most of you probably already know Nick and I threw this artsy party/sale gig in our home recently and called it Sales for Tails.  Most participating artists donated 10% of their sales to the Jacksonville Humane Society.  Together we all pulled together and raised and donated $1,589.28 to the cause.  We like to think that this will buy a lot of cat and dog food or whatever else JHS needs to keep those animals safe and sound until their future families come to find them.  We LOVE supporting the Jacksonville Humane Society and all of our fabulously creative friends!!  If you didn't get a chance to come this time, hopefully you can join us next time.

Sales for Tails 2010 EVENT INFORMATION

Right now, these very special cats and dogs are patiently waiting to find good homes.  They are currently located at the Jacksonville Humane Society on Beach Boulevard.  If you go there ,with one in mind, only to find that someone else has scooped them up before you get there don't be upset.  Be happy for them as they have now found good homes.  But I promise you there's always someone else, equally special and equally lovable,  there waiting for you.   I personally want to go bring them all home.  This has always been a problem for me.

So, we had our one and only Artists Meeting to prepare for the show

Tuesday night we had our one and only artist meeting to hash out details of the show.  The intense planning continues...........We're all a little stressed out.  Can you tell?

Discussions, discussions, discussions...such a serious group, huh?  Left to right, Dorian, Ginny, Christie and, well, me of course, Marcia.

Andrea and Lori - they look tense don't they?  This art show planning is really not for sissies.  It's hard core.

Just wait until you see the "Sales for Tails" T-shirts in person.  They're so cool!  We'll be selling them during the show.  100% of the T-shirt sales will be going to the Jacksonville Humane Society.  They're 100% cotton and only $15.00 each.  Plan on getting to the show early so you can be sure to snag one for yourself.  Supplies are limited.
